How to get into

Flow?

Well, it is easy, like most things that are really good and work. You step into the present moment, focus on whatever you do and listen to your intuition regarding what to do in each and every moment.

Flow researchers say that when the challenge and your skills to handle it are in balance. Yes, this is one way to experience flow, but not the only one.

You can get into flow even when you are washing the dishes or walk in the park, or play with your kids — if you are completely present and in the moment. Just try. It takes practice.

So flow state can happen accidentally, whilst doing art or studying, as well as during seemingly mundane events, if we are conscious and pay attention to focusing on what we are doing. You can even get into flow by just listening to the wind… It is really cool though and feels amazing.

I was wondering how the experience and mindfulness and flow relate to each other, it seems they are pretty much the same to me.

Surfing is also a very good way and would be one of my favourite way to step into flow, Portugal awaits me.

I suggest, do not overcomplicate this. Yes, extreme sports, art and highly creative work can take you to the desired state, but so can running, stroking your cat and having a warm bath or gardening, baking a cake; just be fully present and and see and feel the wonder of the moment

Who knows, even miracles could follow!
